Audrey and Harriet

We had some fun today with Audrey (right) and Harriet (left) modelling out in the sunshine. They looked just gorgeous in their own Mulberry Road tops that mummy Belinda bought from home and enjoyed playing with our new dolls. Twins Audrey and Harriet have just turned four and had lots of fun dancing about and smiling for the camera.

Thank you Audrey and Harriet...you certainly earned your chocolate.

Look at these Gorgeous Girls

I would like to introduce some gorgeous girls to you. I am so happy with them and I am going to grab some more fabric while I can and make up some more. They make me so happy just looking at them. They take me back to my childhood. I think I will make another set to put in my daughters room. She too loves them to bits.
They stand tall at 36cm and are just so sweet and cheeky all in one! I think I will have to give them each a name before they make it onto madeit.

My New.....Chenille Backed Cushions

Here are my new chenille backed cushions. I have made them using cream chenille as a backing and quilters cotton prints for the front. I think I may save them for an upcoming market I am hoping to sell at in July - Hide and Seek Market at Kellyville (stay tuned for more info and dates). I love them to bits and feel to really appreciate them you need to see them in the flesh and feel the warmth of the chenille in your hands. The chenille just pops over the sides to appear at the front of the cushion like a trim. They are so cuddly and would be gorgeous on your little ones bed or on a chair in the corner of the room as a feature on their own. My four year old has put an order in for the planes and hot air balloons for his room...my favourite too!

Best Wishes,

Nic.

So so busy....

I have had a busy night sewing together some exciting new cushions....photos to come very soon.

Sorry to keep you in suspense but it will be worth the wait!

Rattle Rocket for Bub

I've been busy once again trying to come up with a ribbon toy for the boys to match the ever popular Babushka Doll with Ribbons. I have come up with a rocket and have inserted a soft bell which is very sweet and the flames are made with ribbons. I have put them on my madeit store today and they look just gorgeous. They are not as big as the babushkas but they are big enough for bub to hold and shake and play with. Take a look when you get a moment. Cheers, Nic.

Some winter tops for the Boys

I have been busy today while Samuel my little one was asleep coming up with some ideas for some tops for boys for winter. I love the ones with the bunting best. The ric rac I used came to me by way of my Grandmother. When she passed away and my Mum was clearing out her place she came across it and thought I could put it to good use. So here it is.
