I've been busy once again trying to come up with a ribbon toy for the boys to match the ever popular Babushka Doll with Ribbons. I have come up with a rocket and have inserted a soft bell which is very sweet and the flames are made with ribbons. I have put them on my madeit store today and they look just gorgeous. They are not as big as the babushkas but they are big enough for bub to hold and shake and play with. Take a look when you get a moment. Cheers, Nic.

Some winter tops for the Boys
I have been busy today while Samuel my little one was asleep coming up with some ideas for some tops for boys for winter. I love the ones with the bunting best. The ric rac I used came to me by way of my Grandmother. When she passed away and my Mum was clearing out her place she came across it and thought I could put it to good use. So here it is.
Here it is my first blog...I have done it!
I am so proud of myself as I have set this blogger page up all by myself with no help from my clever computer wise hubby. He is currently in Ireland standing by his best mate as he gets married to a lovely irish girl. I feel very clever at this moment. Yippee for me!
Well...Mulberry Road is my own label created after sewing for many years for my little ones and finally deciding to take the leap into the world of sewing and selling. I started out selling through Rexine at Loganberry Lane in Glenbrook in the gorgeous Blue Mountains and things just took off from there. She has a gorgeous store and sells so many beautiful things from baby and kids to homewares, jewellery and so much more. Worth a look if you are in the area or heading up to the Blue Mountains for a day.
In September 2009 I found out about madeit.com.au and set up my own store online (find me at www.madeit.com.au/mulberryroad )which keeps me fairly busy for now, along with my four little kiddies. Please take a look every now and then as new things are always popping up. I specialise in clothing, toys and decor items for childrens rooms. Whatever takes my fancy at the time.
Hopefully I will get better at this soon and will be uploading photos of my creations to show everyone who stops by at the Mulberry Road Blog. Please join my Mulberry Road Blog as a friend as I will be having some giveaways from time to time to share.
Goodnight for now,
Nicole.
